Dr. Tony Richie is the author of more than 50 articles and reviews in theological journals and popular Christian magazines. Dr Richie also has contributed to several books on Pentecostal and Evangelical Christian spirituality and theology. His special interests include Pentecostalism, John Wesley and C. S. Lewis, ecumenism, theology of religions and inter-religious encounter and dialogue. He has published widely in scholarly journals and magazines, including the Evangel, Journal of Pentecostal Theology, Journal of Ecumenical Studies, Pneuma, Asbury Theological Journal, and Wesleyan Theological Journal. He has also authored chapters in The Spirit in the World: Emerging Pentecostal Theologies in Global Contexts, edited by Veli-Matti Kärkkäinen (Eerdmans).
Dr Richie is liaison for the Society for Pentecostal Studies to the Interfaith Relations Commission of the National Council of Churches (USA) and Pentecostal participant and representative to the Inter-Religious Relations Dialogue of the World Council of Churches in Geneva, Switzerland. He has also been appointed as the first Pentecostal Christian Commissioner on the Commission of Churches on International Affairs, a select body of international ecumenical Christians advising the Central Committee of the World Council of Churches and the United Nations on global issues with ethical and religious dynamics.
Dr. Tony Richie is a pastor at New Harvest Church in Knoxville, Tennessee and is also an adjunct and guest lecturer at Lee University and the Church of God Theological Seminary and does missionary teaching at SEMISUD in Quito, Ecuador.
